Aims & Scope
The journal Signifiances (Signifying) is pluridisciplinary and/or transdisciplinary, specializing in themes related to the linguistics of the signifier, iconicity and analogy, lexical or grammatical semiogenesis, enaction, embodied and situated cognition, holistic approaches to language, interlocution and the theory of interlocutive relation, Gestalt theory, and interculturality and language. It aims to publish innovative work on themes less represented elsewhere, such as language and enaction, embodiment of the signifier, semiogenesis, interlocution, and analogy. It also seeks to foster interdisciplinary work from fields such as language sciences, communication sciences, poetics, philosophy, literature, rhetoric, cognitive sciences, and social psychology.
