Aims & Scope
ZoneModa Journal (ZMJ) is the first Italian scientific journal dedicated to fashion research in its complexity: aesthetic, social, cultural, economic and historical. It aims to cover an interdisciplinary space between fashion criticism and theory. One of ZoneModa Journal’s objectives is to promote a culture of fashion studies that includes multidisciplinary approaches. In fact, the policy with which the journal is organised takes into account the complexity of the field of fashion studies, in particular the different subjects and perspectives of study that make it up: from history, sociology, cultural anthropology, art, literature, semiotics, aesthetics, architecture, design and business sciences. In particular, the areas of interest are: Fashion and Cultural Heritage Mass Culture, Media Culture Everyday Aesthetics Social Studies Visual Studies Creative Innovation and New Technologies Architecture and Design Cultures Linguistic Studies
