Aims & Scope

The Malaysian E-Commerce Journal aims to create and disseminate enduring knowledge for the fast-changing e-commerce environment. The journal addresses the central challenge in e-commerce research—balancing the need for up-to-date insights with the long-term value of scholarly contributions. It seeks to foster a global research community dedicated to advancing knowledge, technology, theory, and applications in electronic commerce, particularly at the intersection of technological innovation and business strategy. E-commerce is inherently multidisciplinary, drawing from fields such as Information Systems and Technology, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Strategy, Public Policy, Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Legal Studies. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and special issue proposals on emerging themes in e-commerce.
