Aims & Scope

About the Journal Al-Mukhtar Journal of Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Omar Al-Mukhtar University . The journal currently publishes scholarly work in medical and health sciences, including pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, laboratory medicine, human biology, clinical and applied health sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and scientifically sound studies that contribute to knowledge, practice, education, and research in medical and health sciences. The journal’s archive includes earlier volumes and issues published under a broader scientific scope. These archived contents are preserved for scholarly record, citation continuity, and long-term access.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
