Aims & Scope
Journal of Sylva Indonesiana (JSI) is an international peer-reviewed biannual journal (February and August) published by TALENTA Publisher and managed by the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. It is dedicated to interchange for the articles of high-quality research in the field of forestry and natural resources, including Forest Management, Social and Economic of Forestry, Forestry Policy, Sylviculture and Biotechnology, Forest Ecology, Plantation Forestry, Forest Conservation, Biodiversity and Natural Resources, Wood Sciences and Technology, Biocomposite, and Non-Timber Forest Product. JSI publishes state-of-the-art scientific articles in fundamental theory, experiments and simulation, as well as applications, with a systematic proposed method, sufficient review on previous works, expanded discussion, and concise conclusion. In our commitment to the advancement of science and technology, JSI follows the open access policy that allows the published articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Each publication contains research articles that will be published online. These articles are indexed by SINTA , Garuda Portal , Google Scholar , BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) , WorldCat , and CABI . JSI strives to be a means of periodic, accredited, national scientific, or reputable international publications in printed and online versions. The aims and Scope of the Journal of Sylva Indonesiana (JSI) are intended as means to publish scientific articles in the field of forestry and natural resources. For the initial stage, all submitted articles would be checked plagiarism. Furthermore, articles would be review by peers before being passed to accept. Blind reviews would be applied to ensure the objectivity of review results. Journal of Sylva Indonesiana received articles related to forestry science including Forest Management, Social and Economic of Forestry, Forestry Policy, Silviculture and Biotechnology, Forest Ecology, Plantation Forestry, Forest Conservation, Biodiversity and Natural Resources, Wood Sciences and Technology, Biocomposite, and Non Timber Forest Product.
