Aims & Scope
The WE_OS Jahrbuch provides an insight into the research and development work of the Oberstufen-Kolleg (Hahn et al., 2014a). The Scientific Unit Oberstufen-Kolleg researches, develops, and evaluates new learning objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, learning processes, performance development and assessment, as well as organizational concepts for secondary level II in cooperation with the experimental school Oberstufen-Kolleg and with the Faculty of Educational Science and other faculties and institutions of the University of Bielefeld (Palowski et al., 2019/accepted). Key content areas include productive engagement with heterogeneity, reflected in projects on inclusion in upper secondary school or curriculum development for newly arrived students, as well as issues of school development, practice research, and transfer (Heinrich & Klewin 2019/in press). The WE_OS Jahrbuch presents the planning for research and development projects, i.e., the research and development plan, as well as results of ongoing and completed projects, and generally concepts and impulses from the work. The yearbook is always themed, according to which the contributions are selected. The content contributions are supplemented by overviews of all currently ongoing research and development projects at WE_OS and of publications, lectures, and further training courses of the previous year.
