Aims & Scope

Geriatrik Bilimler Dergisi (GBD) - Journal of Geriatric Science (JoGS), Geriatrik Bilimler Derneği'nin süreli, hakemli, açık erişimli, bilimsel resmi yayın organıdır. GBD'nin amacı bilimsel açıdan nitelikli makaleler yayımlayarak ulusal ve uluslararası tüm tıbbi kurum ve personele ulaştırmaktır. GBD'nin başlıca ilgi alanları; geriatrik sendromlar, geriatrik psikiyatri, yaşlı hastaya yaklaşım ve yaşlanmanın biyolojik temelleri olup geriatrik olguların tıbbi, mental, psikolojik, sosyoekonomik ve çevresel problemleri ile ilgili olabilecek retrospektif, prospektif veya deneysel araştırmalar, derlemeler, olgu sunumları, editöryal yorumlar, editöre mektuplar ve geriatride tıp gündemini belirleyen güncel konularda yazılara yer verilmektedir. GBD'nin hedef kitlesi, geriatri disipliniyle ilgilenen tüm sağlık çalışanları ile geriatri ve gerontoloji konusunda hizmet eden tüm bireylerdir.
