Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (PBS) (ISSN: 2636-834X) aims to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in psychiatry, behavioral sciences, psychopharmacology, biological psychiatry, clinical neuroscience, and related areas of mental health. The journal welcomes scientifically rigorous studies that address the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, clinical course, prevention, and biopsychosocial understanding of psychiatric, behavioral, neurodevelopmental, and neuropsychiatric disorders. PBS particularly encourages clinical, experimental, epidemiological, biological, psychosocial, and translational research with clear relevance to mental health and clinical practice. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, major psychiatric disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use and addictive disorders, cognitive disorders, sleep disorders, psychosomatic and neuropsychiatric conditions, psychopharmacological treatments, biological mechanisms of mental disorders, and clinically relevant topics in neuroscience. Submissions that fall outside the fields of psychiatry, behavioral sciences, psychopharmacology, mental health, or clinically relevant neuroscience are not considered for publication.
