Fabrica Litterarum Polono-Italica
Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Śląskiego · Poland · Est. 2019
Aims & Scope
The journal aims to explore the modernizing potential of literary (and broader artistic) texts, the essence of productive modernity, and to permanently change the 'workshop' of a humanist. The research field is precisely defined as the universe of Polish and Italian literatures and cultures, with a particular interest in the comparative 'aspect and moment' of the research process, focusing on situations that reveal their 'transmedial' character and belong to the inseparable, 'parallel spheres of humanistic expression'. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary works from fields such as film or visual art criticism, anthropology, law, or humanistic geography. It emphasizes cultural syncretism, hybridity, and synergy between Southern regions like Upper Silesia and Apulia, acting as an interactive platform for two dynamic centers.
