Aims & Scope

The journal publishes open access academic/scholarly research in Russian and English. Full text are available online. Focus and scope enable the scientists studying the Arctic to quickly publish the results of their research; provide scientific support to strategic projects in the Arctic; draw the attention of a wide audience to healthcare issues faced by the Arctic’s indigenous population, to the environment and climate of the Russian North; provide Russian and foreign scientists with a platform for dialogue and exchange of knowledge; increase the prestige of Russian scientific research at the global level.
