Aims & Scope

JPEHM es una revista editada por UMA Editorial y promovida por un equipo internacional de docentes e investigadores universitarios, teniendo un carácter multidisciplinar siempre que aborden temáticas relacionadas con la educación física y motricidad humana, dando cabida a trabajos científicos originales, estudios de casos y revisiones de investigación en las siguientes áreas: Ciencias Sociales (educación física, entrenamiento deportivo, pedagogía deportiva, psicología del deporte, sociología del deporte, métodos de investigación en deportes, gestión del deporte, recreación y turismo). Ciencias Biomédicas y de la Salud (fisiología deportiva, control y aprendizaje motor, bioquímica deportiva, medicina del deporte, fisioterapia y terapia ocupacional, actividad física y salud, biomecánica deportiva, actividad física adaptada). Humanidades (historia del deporte, filosofía del deporte, derecho deportivo y terminología deportiva). Bajo los criterios de internacionalización y difusión del conocimiento, esta revista publica textos semestralmente en español, inglés y portugués, apoyado por un equipo editorial internacional que trata de establecer un marco de referencia de intercambio de conocimientos científicos entre el ámbito europeo e iberoamericano.
