Apuntes de Bioética

Aims & Scope

Apuntes de Bioética is a publication that has the objective of being a critical and plural medium, from which multidisciplinary research results focused on bioethics are reflected, discussed and disseminated. The scientific journal Apuntes de Bioética focuses on topics such as the philosophical and anthropological foundation of bioethics, the study of problems derived from the use of biotechnologies, issues related to the beginning and end of human life, the care practice of health professions, topics related to biopolitics, biodaw, biofamily, education, environment, human development, technology and society from a perspective of protection of the person and respect for their dignity. In this way, Apuntes de Bioética is configured as an interdisciplinary journal that strives for the search for truth, under a rigorous and scientific academic exercise.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
