Aims & Scope
The Journal «Constitutional and Legal Academic Studies» is a professional scientific journal which covers the findings of scientific research on topical issues of constitutionalism, constitutional construction, the development of constitutional law and process in Ukraine and foreign countries. The journal cooperates with the largest universities in Ukraine and abroad, the state authorities and local government. Such cooperation involves the placement of information materials, the publication of scientific articles, holding round tables based on the publication. The journal «Constitutional and Legal Academic Studios» is actively used in the educational process – articles and materials are recommended as additional sources while studying the basic disciplines. The editorial board accepts materials for publishing from scholars, practising lawyers, judges, notaries, investigators, prosecutors and other legal practitioners, readers who are interested in the issues of the publication. The editorial board of the journal proposes publishing articles and invites everyone who wishes to cooperate, who will use it as a source of a lot of useful information for their wide-ranging activities, which will contribute to the assertion of the basic values of Ukraine’s civilizational efforts – law, justice and morality. The aim of the scientific journal “Constitutional and Legal Academic Studies” is to publish peer-reviewed scholarly articles presenting original research findings on current issues in constitutionalism, constitutional development, and the evolution of constitutional law and procedure in Ukraine and other countries, and to promote the development of constitutional and legal science in Ukraine and its integration into the European and global academic community. The journal is designed to disseminate current scientific findings on the theory and practice of constitutionalism, the constitutional structure of the state, the protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, constitutional adjudication, electoral law, and other institutions of constitutional law in Ukraine and foreign states, thereby contributing to the development of constitutional legal thought in the context of European integration processes and constitutional reform in Ukraine and other countries. The main objectives of the publication are: – to publish original scholarly articles presenting new theoretical and practical research findings on current issues in constitutional law and constitutionalism; – to provide a platform for scholarly communication and the exchange of ideas among constitutional scholars in Ukraine and abroad; – to address current issues in constitutional development, constitutional reform, and the development of constitutional law institutions in Ukraine; – to promote comparative legal research in the field of constitutional law and the study of constitutional development in other countries; – to elucidate the process of bringing Ukraine’s constitutional legislation into line with the standards of European Union countries; – to validate the scientific results of postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers in the field of constitutional law; – to disseminate the results of scientific research activities of domestic and foreign scholars in the sphere of constitutionalism and constitutional law; – to adhere to high standards of editorial and publication ethics, ensuring independent and objective peer review of submitted materials; – to establish and develop partnership cooperation with domestic and international scientific journals and research institutions in the field of constitutional law; – to promote the integration of Ukrainian constitutional legal science into the global academic space through the publication of materials in foreign languages and indexing in international scientometric databases.
