Journal of Intervention Epidemiology and Public Health (JIEPH) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research, reviews, and perspectives on intervention epidemiology and public health. The journal aims to strengthen regional preparedness and response to public health challenges, particularly in Africa. It covers a wide range of topics including epidemiological shifts, zoonotic drivers of diseases, mortality surveillance, vaccine uptake, regional public health initiatives, and the operationalization of public health systems. The journal also focuses on specific disease outbreaks such as Lassa fever and Sudan virus disease, as well as broader public health issues like pregnancy planning and child malnutrition.
