African and Mediterranean Journal of Architecture and Urbanism (AMJAU) is an International, peer-reviewed journal specializing in publishing research conducted in the fields of Architecture and Urbanism and related disciplines. AMJAU has now refined its scope to focus on the following interconnected areas: Architecture and urbanism in African and Mediterranean contexts Sustainable architecture and climate-responsive design Urban resilience and heritage conservation Urban transformation and socio-spatial dynamics Architectural history and theory related to Mediterranean and African environments This thematic focus reinforces the journal’s positioning as a specialized platform for research on architecture and urbanism in Africa and the Mediterranean region within global debates on sustainability and resilience. The journal, therefore, aims to serve as an international scholarly bridge between African, Mediterranean, and global research communities.
