Aims & Scope

Judaica. Neue digitale Folge (JNDF) is a peer-reviewed academic journal founded in 2019, covering all areas of Jewish Studies from antiquity to the present day. JNDF is the successor journal to Judaica. Beiträge zum Verstehen des Judentums (edited by ZIID Zürcher Institut für interreligiösen Dialog), which appeared in 74 volumes in print. The new Judaica publishes articles and reviews in German, French, and English. Like its predecessor, it has a strong connection to Jewish Studies at Swiss universities but is, of course, open to all as a scientific platform. The editorial office is located at the Institute for Jewish Studies at the University of Bern. JNDF uses a continuous publication model. Contributions are published on an ongoing basis as soon as they have gone through the editorial process.
