Aims & Scope

The Servicio de Publicaciones of the Universidad de Extremadura is responsible for the editing of all scientific publications of the University of Extremadura in any field of knowledge that contributes to the development of science, technology, culture, society, and education. The works published by the Servicio de Publicaciones can be classified into the following categories: Monographs (scientific studies, dissemination, reports…), University manuals, Collections, Scientific journals, Institutional publications, Co-editions. Excluded are academic works, doctoral theses, final degree projects (TFG), and final master's projects (TFM). All authors who request to publish their works with the Servicio de Publicaciones of the Universidad de Extremadura must adhere to the Normas de Presentación de Originales, the Manual de estilo de la edición universitaria (2022), and the Reglamento del Servicio de Publicaciones.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
