Aims & Scope

Speki. Nordic Philosophy and Education Review aims to further a lively and critical dialogue on philosophical, theoretical, normative and conceptual issues relevant for educational research, policy and practice. This journal is a peer-reviewed, electronic, open access and non-profit journal that publishes original contributions within the field of philosophy of education. The articles can vary from philosophical analyses of topical issues regarding teaching, learning, informal education and upbringing, to in-depth studies of foundational philosophical questions relevant to today’s educational policies and practices. The journal publishes special issues devoted to critical analyses and debates on topical issues of educational and philosophical relevance. Moreover, the journal contains a section for book reviews.
