Aims & Scope

Economía & Negocios is a scientific electronic journal from the Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann Tacna – Perú, published uninterruptedly since 2019, with a bimonthly periodicity (April and October) and continuous publication. Its objective is to publish original scientific articles, review articles, and essays in Spanish and English, unpublished or previously available in preprint repositories, resulting from research by national and international researchers and academics. It focuses on the analysis or debates in the field of Economic and Business Sciences, primarily in Economics, Finance, and Business Administration. Economía & Negocios is an open-access peer-reviewed scientific journal that uses an external expert evaluation system (peer-review) under a double-blind review methodology, in accordance with the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA 7). This system ensures authors an impartial, objective, and transparent review process, increasing the chances of their publications being included in international reference databases, repositories, and indexes. The journal Economía & Negocios uses professional manuscript management through the OJS 3 Platform with ethical commitments to transparency and punctuality, anti-plagiarism systems (Turnitin), alternative metrics (PlumX, Dimensions), allowing a high level of visibility with multiple search systems, DOIs, ORCID, dynamic PDFs, HTML, and XML, with connections to document managers like Mendeley and scientific social networks like ResearchGate.
