South Sustainability

Aims & Scope

South Sustainability is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and multidisciplinary journal focused on research and development in diverse fields related to environmental sustainability. Edited by the Environmental Science Department from the Universidad Científica del Sur (Lima, Perú) and open for publication, free of charge, for researchers, professionals, and students. The focus of the publications is both regional and international. Original research articles, review articles, methods, policy briefs, and letters to the editor are admitted for publication. Research themes are accepted in the next fields of study both in basic and applied research. The aim of our journal is to serve as a platform for the publication of the most recent research in: Conservation and ecology, agronomy, atmospheric science, biogeochemistry, civil engineering, urbanistic science and studies, environmental engineering, environmental science, forestry science, agroforestry engineering, geography, hydrology and water studies, industrial ecology, oceanography, soil science and renewable energy.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
