Aims & Scope

Journal of Islamic Education Research is dedicated to disseminating high-quality, original, and impactful scholarly research that examines the integration of local wisdom, Islamic intellectual traditions, and global educational discourse in contemporary Islamic education . The journal specifically focuses on three distinctive areas: (1) comparative studies of locally grounded Islamic educational practices in pesantren and madrasah across socio-cultural contexts; (2) Islamic intellectual traditions examined in dialogue with global educational theories and ethical frameworks; and (3) Islamic education’s engagement with international debates on religious inclusivity and multiculturalism in diverse societies.
