Aims & Scope
Pylon aims to publish high quality research on Arabic, Coptic, Demotic, Greek and Latin texts in a timely manner. New editions of papyri and inscriptions or corrections to previously published texts are especially sought. General studies based on papyrological and inscriptionsl evidence that relate to any aspect of Greco-Roman society in Egypt are also welcome. Pylon focuses on Egypt of the Ptolemaic, Roman, Late Antique and early Islamic periods in all its cultural, political, social and religious diversity. Its editorial board includes specialists of Arabic, Coptic, Demotic, Greek and Latin papyri and inscriptions from any of these periods.
