Pons Aelius
Postgraduate Forum, Newcastle University · United Kingdom · Est. 2002
Aims & Scope
Pons Aelius aims to allow postgraduate students and early career researchers in all areas of historical and archaeological study to present their research to a new, wider audience. It also aims to provide an opportunity for early career researchers to experience the publishing process for the first time, in a supportive but educational environment. As part of this inclusive ethos, we strongly encourage Master’s and other non-PhD postgraduates to submit to us! Pons Aelius does not accept repeats or variations of already published papers. Submissions must also be contributor(s)’ own work and feature a degree of originality. The journal is geared towards both academic and public readership. As such, all articles included in each edition include contextual information and avoid specialist terminology (unless clearly defined).
