Nuclear Science and Technology Open Research (NSTOR) is a multidisciplinary, rapid-publication open access publishing platform for scientific and applied research in the nuclear field. NSTOR covers all areas related to nuclear science and technology, including broad fields such as fusion, nuclear safety, waste management, education, applications of nuclear technology, and many others. The platform is open to submissions from researchers, practitioners, and experts, and all articles will benefit from open peer review. The aim of NSTOR is to advance the state of the art in nuclear research and encourage innovation by highlighting efficient, robust, and sustainable multidisciplinary applications across a variety of fields. Challenges can be addressed using theoretical, methodological, and technological approaches. The scope of NSTOR includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of nuclear research: Reactors and accelerators Installations Safety, including radiation shielding Socio-political considerations related to nuclear technology Fuel cycles and waste management Environmental considerations and decommissioning Education and training of nuclear workforce Robotics and remote systems Thermal hydraulics Modelling and mathematics Isotopes and radiation Space applications Medical applications Non-power uses of nuclear Fusion technology Please note that studies on nuclear technology for use in wars or weapons, unless sociological in nature, will not be considered.
