Aims & Scope

Journal of Kocatepe Islamic Sciences aims to share scientific studies on Social Sciences, Humanities and Theology fields research articles. Journal of Kocatepe Islamic Sciences accepts to publish original research articles such kind of scientific studies about Social and Human Sciences/Theology field to publish. The scope of the journal includes the studies in the following fields: - Basic Islamic Sciences: Tafsir, Hadith, Kalam, Islamic Law, History of Islamic Sects, Sufism, Arabic Language and Literature and Kiraat; - Philosophy and Religious Sciences: Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Religious Education, History of Religions, Logic; - Islamic History and Arts: History of Islam, History of Turkish Islamic Arts, Turkish Islamic Literature, Turkish Religious Music; - Education of Religious Culture and Ethics. The scientific researches can be published in Turkish, Arabic and English. The target group of the Journal consists of academicians, professionals, students, related and academic bodies, and institutions. One study of an author can be published at most in an issue.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
