Iris is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to the exploration of imaginaries (myths, images, symbols, representations, cultural history). It aims to promote this approach by confronting it with sociology, anthropology, literature, arts, and languages. Iris publishes epistemological articles on the major concepts of imagological studies and offers thematic issues providing insight, diachronically or synchronically, into cultures around the world.
