Aims & Scope
Publishes original research and unpublished contributions from Italian and foreign scholars in the three disciplinary areas of Medieval Art History, Modern Art History, and Contemporary Art History, with particular attention to the contexts of production and reception of works of art and the history of culture and ideas. The journal is divided into four sections: Studies, Contributions, Notes, and Reviews, reflecting attention to various levels of contemporary debate, from historical research to heritage protection policies, conservation and valorization, methodological reflection, and openings to the world of cultural heritage professions, as well as discussion of exhibitions and recent books.
