Aims & Scope
The journal publishes scholarly articles related to the study of East Asian cultures, including sinology, mongolistics and Inner Asian studies, Japanese studies, Korean studies, and other related fields. It welcomes contributions examining Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, Inner Asian, and other related cultures from philosophical, historical, linguistic, artistic, ethnographic, and religious studies perspectives. The journal accepts historical approaches as well as works examining contemporary East Asian societies. It also publishes reviews of works related to the listed areas, including short pieces on recently published monographs, edited volumes, and translations.
