Aims & Scope

Journal of Global Innovations in Agricultural Sciences (JGIAS) is an international scientific open access journal quarterly publishing double-blind peer-reviewed research papers, review articles, communications and short notes with the objective to foster high-quality research in the field of agricultural sciences. The aim of Journal of Global Innovations in Agricultural Sciences is to publish research on a wide range of topics related to agricultural research and innovations that have a global impact. The scope of the journal includes all agricultural disciplines (crops/livestock) and allied sciences (economics, rural development, engineering, etc.), if has information of direct significance to agriculture. Following areas are often included in the journal: Crop science and technology : Innovations in crop/tree genetics, breeding, production management and biotechnology. Soil science : Advances in soil management, fertility, soil health, water quality, irrigation management. Agroecology and organic farming : Research on eco-friendly farming practices, including organic farming, agroecological approaches, biosecurity and management of natural resources. Pest and disease management : Innovations in controlling pests and diseases that affect crops, livestock, and ecosystems. Sustainable agriculture : Practices that focus on the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of agricultural systems. Agricultural engineering : New technologies in farming equipment, irrigation systems, and machinery that improve productivity and sustainability. Precision agriculture : Use of technology like drones, sensors, and data analytics to optimize farm management and reduce resource use. Climate change and agriculture : Agriculture in changing environments, impact of climate change on agricultural production and adaptation strategies. Agri-food systems and food security : Research on improving food production systems, supply chains, food safety and global food security challenges. Livestock and animal husbandry : Innovations in livestock breeding, animal health, and management practices. Agricultural policy and rural development : Studies on agricultural policy, rural economy, trade, and development, with a focus on improving livelihoods in rural areas.
