Aims & Scope

Focusing specifically on Turkish literature and culture and, more broadly, on literature and culture in general, Kün aims to contribute to the production of high-quality scholarly publications; encourage theoretical, interdisciplinary, and comparative research; establish a dialogue between national and international contemporary and innovative discussions; introduce and analyze significant publications, artistic works, and events; and contribute to Turkish scholarly and artistic knowledge by presenting translations of articles from foreign languages. Kün publishes original scholarly articles, reviews, critical essays, studies on publications, artistic works, and performances, as well as translations of articles. While the journal primarily focuses on Turkish literature and culture, it also welcomes research, analyses, evaluations, and discussions on broader literary and cultural topics.
