Aims & Scope

The main purpose of the journal is to contribute to science by publishing high quality publications of scientific importance, to contribute to language education and teaching, to include scientific studies based on social sciences, especially philology and linguistics, native language education / teaching, foreign language teaching, Turkish language, Turkish language teaching and Turkish world. International Journal of Philology Bengü is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access and online journal that aims to publish articles on Turkish Language and the Turkic world in the fields of Language and Linguistics, Literature, Literary Studies, Literary Theory and Criticism, Folklore, Cultural Studies, Education and Educational Research. Articles should describe original data that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that are deemed suitable for the journal's submission guidelines and scope are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The members of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Philology Bengü then consider the referees' comments on each submission. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts rests with the Editor-in-Chief. Readership: • The target audience of the International Journal of Philology Bengü, which publishes research articles that will contribute to the field on issues related to the Turkic world, language, literature and culture, is academics, experts, researchers, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students interested in these sciences. Text Submissions: • The texts submitted to the journal should be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the journal. • The submitted texts must be original, must not have been published before and must not have been taken into the evaluation process by another periodical. • Texts submitted after the article acceptance date specified on the journal's website will not be evaluated. • More than one study by one author will not be published in the same issue.
