PJDIR is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide an international academic platform for scholarly discussions on issues concerning Melanesia and the Asia-Pacific region. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, topics such as Indonesia–Papua New Guinea border dynamics, the West Papuan conflict, the Melanesian Way, South Pacific affairs, the Indo-Pacific, regional conflicts, and other subjects related to diplomacy and international affairs.
