Aims & Scope
Hakam : Journal of Islamic Law Studies and Islamic Economic Law emphasizes the study of family law, Islamic law, and Islamic economic law in Islamic countries in general and particularly in Indonesia with an emphasis on Islamic legal theories and positive law and its practice in the Islamic world which development is attended through the publication of scientific study articles. Hakam: Journal of Islamic Law Studies and Islamic Economic Law is a scientific journal that focuses on the study of Islamic family law, Islamic law, and Islamic economic law, with a special emphasis on the context of Indonesia and other Islamic countries. This journal aims to develop theoretical and practical understanding of the application of Islamic law and positive law based on the principle of wasathiyah fiqh. Through the publication of original research results, Hakam is committed to enriching scientific discourse on the application of Islamic law and Islamic economic law in contemporary social, economic, and cultural life. Hakam's scope includes topics such as Islamic family law, Islamic civil law, customary law, disputes in family law, and aspects of Islamic economic law. The journal also discusses issues related to marriage, gender, the development of Islamic economic law, and comparative thought in Islam.
