Aims & Scope

npj Spintronics is a fully open access journal publishing research articles that advance the understanding and application of spin electronics or spintronics. The journal focuses on fundamental studies that address the synthesis of emergent spintronics materials and improve the understanding of phenomena related to spin transport and storage. npj Spintronics considers all aspects of research that advances the understanding and application of spin electronics or spintronics. The journal covers a broad range of topics including but not limited to: Spintronic materials and devices Spin transport and spin dynamics Spin injection and spin manipulation Spin-based logic and memory devices Spin-wave devices and magnonics Spintronics in spin logic and neuromorphic computing Spintronics for communication and networking The journal offers more choice to Nature Portfolio authors who are seeking a fully open-access and more inclusive platform for publishing their work. The journal is led by spintronics experts who collaborate to cultivate high-quality research. As part of the npj Series , this journal focuses on fostering global partnerships with the research community and other Springer Nature journals.
