Aims & Scope

Computational Humanities Research is a new journal dedicated to the interdisciplinary field of computational humanities. It aims to publish high-quality research that bridges the gap between computational methods and the humanities, fostering a dialogue between computer scientists, digital humanists, and scholars from various humanities disciplines. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, and short communications that explore the application of computational techniques to problems in literature, history, linguistics, philosophy, art history, musicology, and other areas of the humanities. We are particularly interested in work that develops new computational methods, applies existing methods in novel ways, or critically engages with the implications of computational approaches for understanding human culture and history.
