Aims & Scope
Filmvisio is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed film studies journal published twice a year (June and December) by the Faculty of Communication of Istanbul University. The journal’s primary objective is to investigate cinema as an art form and a medium of mass communication focusing on its ethical, political, philosophical, artistic, social, and technological dimensions. The journal includes research articles, review articles, book, film, and TV series reviews, festival and conference reports, and interviews.
