Aims & Scope
Dadolin is an academic journal of languages and literatures that seeks to contemplate the linguistic and cultural diversity of Timor-Leste, which, among its various local languages, has Tetum and Portuguese as official languages. In addition to this purpose, Dadolin also aims to receive academic works from other countries of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) – Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, and São Tomé and Príncipe –, seeking to promote Pluricentric Portuguese, respecting the varieties of the Portuguese language of each member country and other locations that have Portuguese as an official language, such as Macau - China, and unofficial, such as Goa - India, for example. Dadolin: Línguas e Literaturas is an Open Access academic journal, with peer review, intended for the publication of studies in Linguistics, Literature, and Language Teaching. It aims to publish original research articles, retrospectives, essays, book reviews, interviews, translations, and thematic dossiers. Dadolin is published in Portuguese and its varieties, in Tetum, and in English.
