Aims & Scope

The Andalasian International Journal of Entomology (AIJENT) is committed to advancing entomological research that addresses critical issues in agriculture, forestry, human health, and animal health. AIJENT seeks to foster an engaged community of scientists and researchers focused on the study of insects and their impact on natural and managed ecosystems worldwide. By spotlighting high-quality research with practical and theoretical significance, AIJENT serves as a pivotal resource for scholars striving to expand knowledge in insect science and its applications across diverse environmental and public health contexts. AIJENT welcomes submissions of original research, comprehensive reviews, and short communications across the full spectrum of entomological study. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the biosystematics, biology, physiology, behavior, and ecology of insects, as well as advances in pest management, conservation, molecular biology, medical entomology, and evolutionary biology. The journal highly values research that explores innovative methods and findings in insect biodiversity, population dynamics, and species interactions, aiming to contribute substantially to the scientific literature in both pure and applied entomology. Embracing interdisciplinary approaches, AIJENT encourages contributions from related scientific fields that can enrich our understanding of insects and their role within broader ecological and human systems.
