Hitik: International Journal of Catechists and Religious Educators is the official international peer-reviewed journal publication of the Religious Educators Association of the Philippines (REAP) . The journal serves as an academic platform for the advancement of scholarly research, critical discourse, and interdisciplinary studies in catechesis, theology, religious education, spirituality, pastoral studies, and related fields. Many of the articles published in the journal originate from research papers presented during the annual National Conference on Catechesis and Religious Education organized by De La Salle University and the Religious Educators Association of the Philippines (REAP) , alongside submissions from catechists, theologians, clergy, pastoral workers, religious educators, and scholars from diverse faith traditions and academic disciplines. Recognizing the pluralistic religious realities of Asia and the wider global community, the journal encourages dialogue, intercultural engagement, interdisciplinary scholarship, and critical reflection on emerging religious, educational, pastoral, and social issues.
