Aims & Scope
Review of the History of Economic Thought and Methodology (RHETM) is a journal dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to a broad range of topics related to the history and methodology of economics and its relationship to other fields in the humanities and social sciences. Volumes are divided into four parts: a monothematic section dedicated to research articles focused on a particular issue in the journal’s core fields of interest, typically curated by guest editors; a section including open-submission research articles of a more general nature; a section dedicated to newly discovered archival materials, usually accompanied by critical commentary; and a section of review essays on new works in the history and methodology of economics and related fields. All research articles submitted to RHETM are subject to single-anonymous peer review. Research published in the journal covers the following (non-exhaustive) list of disciplines: economics, political economy, epistemology, philosophy of science, history of science, sociology of science, intellectual history, economic history, economic methodology, economic sociology, science and technology studies, moral philosophy, political philosophy, behavioral science.
