Aims & Scope

The Journal of Advances in Plant Protection ( JAPP ) is dedicated to publishing cutting-edge, innovative, original, and timely research focused on various aspects of plant protection, including weeds, plant diseases, and pests. The scope of the journal encompasses a wide range of topics related to plant health and safety and aims to address critical issues, including: 1. Plant Damage and Injuries : Investigating the causes and consequences of various types of damage to plants, including mechanical injuries, environmental stressors, and anthropogenic factors. 2. Plant Diseases : Exploring the biology, ecology, and management of diseases affecting plants, with a focus on pathogens and their interactions with host plants, while publishing research on the identification, management, and control of plant diseases caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses, and nematodes. 3. Plant Pests : Focusing on the study of insects, mites, and other organisms that adversely affect plant health and productivity, while examining their impact on plant health, including life cycles, behavior, and control strategies. 4. Injurious Organisms : Studying various organisms that cause harm to plants, including fungi, bacteria, viruses, nematodes, invasive species, and weeds. 5. Plant Protection Strategies : Evaluating and highlighting innovative approaches and technologies to protect plants from biotic and abiotic threats, including integrated pest management (IPM), biological control methods, resistant plant varieties, and environmentally friendly practices. The Journal of Advances in Plant Protection ( JAPP ) aims to serve as a platform for researchers to share their findings and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in plant protection, welcoming submissions that provide insights into the mechanisms of plant damage and protection, as well as practical applications for improving plant health and productivity. Additionally, JAPP seeks to foster collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to advance knowledge in the field while promoting sustainable agricultural practices through high-quality research.
