Aims & Scope
The Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Technology (JNAMT) is an independent, impartial, and peer-reviewed journal that adheres to double-blind peer review principles. Published biannually by the Chamber of Turkish Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (TMMOB Gemi Mühendisleri Odası) since 1955, it aims to enhance the professional knowledge of its members, contribute to ship and marine technologies, and promote technological innovations and sectoral developments in line with national interests. JNAMT is an internationally recognized, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scientific journal featuring original studies in its field. As of 2025, The Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Technology has adopted a Continuous Publication Model , ensuring that articles are published online immediately upon finalization, without awaiting the compilation of a complete issue. The journal publishes national, international, and local scientific research articles, reviews, technical notes, book reviews, letters to the editor, and extended reports from conferences and meetings in various areas including: Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Maritime Studies Mechanical Engineering Electrical/Electronic Engineering Industrial Engineering and related fields.
