Aims & Scope
Journal of Islamic Law and Humanitarian Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (June and December) by CV. SPDFHarmony in collaboration with Politeknik Negeri Jember. This journal serves as a scholarly platform for the exploration, analysis, and dissemination of ideas at the intersection of Islamic law (Sharia) and humanitarian studies. It focuses on actual and contemporary issues that link Islamic legal principles with universal human values, social justice, ethics, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. The journal aims to promote critical, interdisciplinary, and transformative scholarship that contributes to the understanding and application of Islamic law in addressing global humanitarian challenges. It encourages dialogue among scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various fields, including law, social sciences, economics, politics, technology, and environmental studies, to foster an integrated and human-centered approach to Islamic legal thought. The editorial board welcomes research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews from academics and professionals around the world. Every submission undergoes a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the integrity, originality, and quality of the publication.
