Aims & Scope
Etnološka tribinais a peer-reviewed journal of Croatian Ethnological Society. It covers a range of subjects in ethnology and cultural anthropology, folklore, museum and conservation studies that are stemming from social and cultural contemporaneity. Etnološka tribina publishes research papers, review articles, debates and book reviews. Etnološka tribina promotes critical thinking and innovative writing in ethnography and cultural anthropology related to Eastern Europe and post-socialist countries. In the pursuit of authors that experiment with new conceptual tools in qualitative research and follow emergent paradigms in cultural anthropology, Etnološka tribina encourages researchers to submit analytical and reflexive papers that would show their sensibility to grasp the complexities of contemporary social and cultural worlds. It represents a forum for different ethnological strands and has been bound to promote cultural anthropology. To that extent Etnološka tribina welcomes papers that would bring up challenging, innovative and conceptually rigorous research in both new epistemological framework and methodological tools of ethnology and cultural anthropology.
