Aims & Scope
Rupkatha is an International Open Access Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities publishing criticism of emerging literature, innovation and art, and intersections across the disciplines of humanities, social sciences and science. One of its basic objectives is to promote interdisciplinary research for the human condition, culture and the elimination of discrimination in a globally connected world. The content of publications is primarily guided by possibilities of the open nature of knowledge, and freedom of access for all. The journal provides universal Open Access. The fundamental idea of interdisciplinarity derives from an evolutionary necessity, namely, the need to confront and interpret complex systems. An entity that is studied can no longer be analysed in terms of its singular objectivity but as a contending hierarchy of discourses emerging from multiple or variable branches of knowledge. We encourage authors to engage in inter-political and intercultural discussion involving interdisciplinary perspectives from areas within and beyond the humanities and the humanist sciences, wherever applicable. Authors must first be sure of the high value of their papers in comparison to international standards and then submit their papers.
