Aims & Scope

Orð og tunga is a peer-reviewed journal published annually by the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies. It publishes scholarly articles, in Icelandic and English, related to language and linguistics. Special emphasis is placed on articles concerning lexicology, lexicography, onomastics, terminology, and language cultivation.
