New Zealand Medical Student Journal
New Zealand Medical Student Journal Society · New Zealand
Aims & Scope
The NZMSJ publishes a wide variety of content that relates to all areas of health, medicine, and medical education. Articles must be educational, interesting, readable, and presented professionally. Academic articles, clinical case reports, and editorials are published in print issues, whilst creative works and media reviews are published on the NZMSJ Blog. In publishing this content, the NZMSJ provides medical students with a forum for discussion at a national and international level. The journal publishes original articles in English, of clinical, public health, translational, and basic science research in any medical discipline. The NZMSJ accepts observational, interventional, experimental, and qualitative studies. To be considered for publication, the research should be of interest to medical students. Ideally, a medical student (at any level) should be listed as the first author. Other researchers and supervisors from the research team who meet the ICMJE Authorship Guidelines must also be listed as authors.
