Aims & Scope

Universitas-XX1 is a bilingual scientific publication of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana of Ecuador, published uninterruptedly since January 2002, with a fixed semi-annual frequency, specializing in Social Sciences and Humanities and their interdisciplinary lines such as communication, political science, and sociology. It is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, which uses an external expert evaluation system (peer-review), under the double-blind peer-review methodology, in accordance with the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). The compliance with this system guarantees authors an objective, impartial, and transparent review process, which facilitates the publication's inclusion in international databases, repositories, and reference indexes.
