Aims & Scope

MedienPädagogik is an open-access journal with scientific aspirations and expanded peer-review processes. It is aimed at professionals from science and practice who deal with questions of mediation between people and media in pedagogical contexts (media pedagogy). This includes, in particular, disciplines of educational science, communication and media studies, and psychology. MedienPädagogik offers a forum for discussing media pedagogical theory formation and orienting oneself on the state of professional discourse; promotes the status of media pedagogy through high-quality contributions; reports on excellent contributions to empirical media research and forms a platform for methodological discussion; builds bridges to other media studies disciplines and to international discussion.
