Aims & Scope
Educational Studies in Mathematics is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles addressing theoretical, pedagogical, methodological, and didactical aspects specifically related to the teaching and learning of mathematics. Published articles in the journal Present new ideas and major developments in mathematics education research across all age levels. Address research that goes beyond local or national interests, and meaningfully contributes to the state-of-the art in the field. Use rigorous methodological approaches, including qualitative, quantitative, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, etc. The journal is open to all research paradigms, such as cognitive, socio-cultural, socio-political, and linguistic. The journal does not publish contributions that only report specific programmes for teaching mathematics, nor purely mathematical or purely psychological contributions.
